Description
Based on a Welsh folk tune and commissioned by the Baylor University Men’s Choir, this arrangement on Calon Lan is a difficult but rewarding piece for intermediate men’s choruses. It utilizes complex harmonies and flowing counterpoint to demonstrate the emotional depth of the text. The lyrics discuss the joys of living life purely and with a passionate heart, and share that life’s rewards come not from material things, but from living life fully. A translation and pronunciation guide will be included in the purchase of this work. This was commissioned and performed by the 2015 Baylor University Men’s Choir.
