Description
This piece was commissioned by the talented oboist Brittany Bonner in the fall of 2014, and was completed in 2015. It features the lyrical beauty of the oboe, and the tonal possibilities of the piano. Filled with various tonal centers, ideas, functional and non-functional harmonies, this piece represents the waking of a human life to the beautiful, twisted, confusing, and limitless world around us.
